Video recordings / 2004-2006
Simone LeAmon has kissed motorcycles on the streets of Milan, Padova and Melbourne. A performance series conducted between 2004-2006 Simone stands at traffic intersections waiting for motorcyclists to pull up at the lights. Darting in and around the stationary traffic she makes her way to the riders and asks: excuse me, can I please kiss you motorcycle?
Between 2003-2007 Simone LeAmon was engaged in conversations with Ducati Motor holdings presenting design concepts for lifestyle products. The Kissing Moto performances were used as ‘conversation starters’ enabling discussions on and around emotional design.
