Presented as part of the 1993 Melbourne Sculpture Triennial, Simone LeAmon’s first solo exhibition Heroes, Chameleons and the Absence of the Ego featured 408 pewter miniatures of medieval knights in fancy dress. Sculpted and cast by Simone these knights are emblematic of her early work.
